𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 “𝗞𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗔” 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱?

We are Maxime and Christelle, a Belgian-Congolese couple, both working in the aviation industry with a passion for the African continent.

With the name “KOLINGA”, which means to love or to cherish in Lingala (one of the languages spoken in DRCongo), we aim to share the value of the word, to love Africa.

If we put an accent on the “i”, it means to bind, to embrace. Using this as a name for our small business project, we would like to involve everyone, young and old.

Our unique creations are handmade with love by Christelle's mother here in Belgium. We carefully choose our fabrics, sourcing them from Africa, Belgium, and the Netherlands to ensure the highest quality and authentic African designs.

By trying to change the Western view on the African continent, we aim to integrate African shades into our daily life and create a potential market where the African continent and the Western continent come together.
